I am a full time mom.
I have two children starting in a new Leader In Me school this fall.
I am a public speaker on sabbatical – i can’t wait to get back at it.

My career is my family, my community work and my personal mission.

My mission is to influence and empower people to develop personal awareness and personal strength, that they might give the most to their life experience. That they may be confident, compassionate and accountable in their actions and thoughts. In carrying out this mission I strive to practice what I teach.

I aim to live my life by the law of the harvest and it is time to sharpen my saw!

We have strugled here at my hotel and things were looking not so bright, however implementing win win situations with local companies, we are making it thru these times, We have partered up with several local businesses and have devolaped several programs for the local communities and we are doing very well. thanks to these ideas.

I can only imagine putting all of the habits would only increase the local moral and make us work together rather than fight for the business.

First I am an aavid reader and own most of your material; books, audio CDs, webseminars, organizers, etc that really had helped me out to shape my life and my career.

Your book the 7th Habit of Highly Effective People opened my eyes to the self development area; it allowed me to position myself into the highest paid peope at my company – I am an Account Manager.

However now my new desire is to to grow into a management/leadership position by adding more value as a person (father, husband, employee, supplier, coworker, and friend).

During these times of uncertaintity – I think I will get greatly benefited of your webcast trainings.

Everyday is a “New Journey”, to succeed at something new, or something that needs to be divinely completed in God’s time, with my participation being the key. The power of positive motivation is the next step, I need to take to go back, to school for my masters in Communication, so that can become a motivational speaker in time. There are several other goals, I want to accomplish as well. I used to work for our company, I had to leave, do to situation beyond my control. I must state, that I have many great opportunities, in working for your company, and having the privilege to have meet some amazing, people. Thanks, so much for your words, of wisdom in several of your books. I have been greatly inspired to challenge myself to do better, as the world ahs indeed challenges me.

Based on the rules, I see it’s too late to enter the contest, but I’m hoping that I can still participate because it only looks like there were 41 posts (now 42) for the contest that is giving away 50 seats.

I would love to be chosen to attend these webinars. As a young woman without a college degree in the technology field, I consume as much information as I possibly can to feel like I’m able to hold my own in a world full of Master’s degrees. I devour the information I find in books, various blogs, webinars, classroom training, and even in meetings and presentations I attend. I’m constantly looking for that skill or that technique to add to my arsenal to improve my listening, communication, leadership, presentation, inter-personal, and other skills.

I, as many others have stated, was fortunate enough to remain employed through recent layoffs and, though that survival instinct is always there, it becomes more prevalent when you are going through difficult times. These days, that black cloud hovers over everything, making everyone I know feel the need to distinguish themselves from the pack… to make it known that they are a leader, that they are capable, that they are necessary.

I would like to attend this webinar series I help develop and/or improve my skills, to be able to take what I learn back to my co-workers, colleagues, and friends to help them, to hopefully find a professional path, a goal to work towards, to enjoy my job again rather than just working through the worry and stress of trying to stay employed.

As a final note, whether there are seats for the series remaining or not, I just wanted to say that this is an awesome thing that you’re doing…helping others to retain what they have and improve upon it or helping them regain something better than what they have lost during these tough times. That’s a very special thing, and thanks.

This training could not come at a better time. While I was fortunate enough to not be laid off during some recent large scale reductions with my Company, it’s now more than ever, time to stay on top of my professional career. I work from home, away from the corporate home office. This can be a logistical challenge to showcase my productivity to the team. Additionally, I have taken on several volunteer roles, including chairing large fundraisers and advising my local sorority chapter. I did not realize how much work was going to be required. I know I can manage these multiple responsibilities. But I really could use some help !

Blessed indeed to have this amazing opportunity! Recently I lost my job, like many others…but it was a blessing in disguise! I am now an Independant consultant with Arbonne International working with an amazing team of women! My team NVP is personally training me and one of the first things she told me was Franklin Covey has changed her life. I believe God puts us in the places we need to be at the times we need to be there, so when I came on this website to look for a planner & some trainings, and saw this opportunity…Blessed I thought I could be again! I am looking to expand my horizons and reach for the stars. This can only help me. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to learn from the best!

As a professional organizer, one of the most important aspects is time management and personal management of yourself and your goals. Clutter is often the result of delayed desicion making. I have never received any specific training in this area, although I have done a lot of reading and tried a number of different methods related to organizing your time. It has been a goal of mine for several years to take some training provided by Mr. Covey as I have used some of his time management tools and love the concept of ordering your life around your priorities so at the end of the day, the most important things were given the most priority.

While spending the past 20 years running a residential remodeling business, we are seeking insight to create effective ways to educate our clients of the roles of all the players involved in the remodeling process. Where past work was predominately referral based, we currently use lead services and find that most people who we speak to are not prepared. I feel that we can develop a system using the principles of the 7 Habits whereby a framework of defined roles and goals of all team members is defined prior to the start of any work or signing any contracts. I believe the webinar would provide essential insight to how we can formulate a system that allows homeowners, architects, designers and contractors to “begin with the end in mind” and bring a remodeling endeavor to a sucessful conclusion that is not only on time and on budget but also a rewarding experience.
