I am a full time mom.
I have two children starting in a new Leader In Me school this fall.
I am a public speaker on sabbatical – i can’t wait to get back at it.

My career is my family, my community work and my personal mission.

My mission is to influence and empower people to develop personal awareness and personal strength, that they might give the most to their life experience. That they may be confident, compassionate and accountable in their actions and thoughts. In carrying out this mission I strive to practice what I teach.

I aim to live my life by the law of the harvest and it is time to sharpen my saw!

We have strugled here at my hotel and things were looking not so bright, however implementing win win situations with local companies, we are making it thru these times, We have partered up with several local businesses and have devolaped several programs for the local communities and we are doing very well. thanks to these ideas.

I can only imagine putting all of the habits would only increase the local moral and make us work together rather than fight for the business.

First I am an aavid reader and own most of your material; books, audio CDs, webseminars, organizers, etc that really had helped me out to shape my life and my career.

Your book the 7th Habit of Highly Effective People opened my eyes to the self development area; it allowed me to position myself into the highest paid peope at my company – I am an Account Manager.

However now my new desire is to to grow into a management/leadership position by adding more value as a person (father, husband, employee, supplier, coworker, and friend).

During these times of uncertaintity – I think I will get greatly benefited of your webcast trainings.

Everyday is a “New Journey”, to succeed at something new, or something that needs to be divinely completed in God’s time, with my participation being the key. The power of positive motivation is the next step, I need to take to go back, to school for my masters in Communication, so that can become a motivational speaker in time. There are several other goals, I want to accomplish as well. I used to work for our company, I had to leave, do to situation beyond my control. I must state, that I have many great opportunities, in working for your company, and having the privilege to have meet some amazing, people. Thanks, so much for your words, of wisdom in several of your books. I have been greatly inspired to challenge myself to do better, as the world ahs indeed challenges me.

Based on the rules, I see it’s too late to enter the contest, but I’m hoping that I can still participate because it only looks like there were 41 posts (now 42) for the contest that is giving away 50 seats.

I would love to be chosen to attend these webinars. As a young woman without a college degree in the technology field, I consume as much information as I possibly can to feel like I’m able to hold my own in a world full of Master’s degrees. I devour the information I find in books, various blogs, webinars, classroom training, and even in meetings and presentations I attend. I’m constantly looking for that skill or that technique to add to my arsenal to improve my listening, communication, leadership, presentation, inter-personal, and other skills.

I, as many others have stated, was fortunate enough to remain employed through recent layoffs and, though that survival instinct is always there, it becomes more prevalent when you are going through difficult times. These days, that black cloud hovers over everything, making everyone I know feel the need to distinguish themselves from the pack… to make it known that they are a leader, that they are capable, that they are necessary.

I would like to attend this webinar series I help develop and/or improve my skills, to be able to take what I learn back to my co-workers, colleagues, and friends to help them, to hopefully find a professional path, a goal to work towards, to enjoy my job again rather than just working through the worry and stress of trying to stay employed.

As a final note, whether there are seats for the series remaining or not, I just wanted to say that this is an awesome thing that you’re doing…helping others to retain what they have and improve upon it or helping them regain something better than what they have lost during these tough times. That’s a very special thing, and thanks.

This training could not come at a better time. While I was fortunate enough to not be laid off during some recent large scale reductions with my Company, it’s now more than ever, time to stay on top of my professional career. I work from home, away from the corporate home office. This can be a logistical challenge to showcase my productivity to the team. Additionally, I have taken on several volunteer roles, including chairing large fundraisers and advising my local sorority chapter. I did not realize how much work was going to be required. I know I can manage these multiple responsibilities. But I really could use some help !

Blessed indeed to have this amazing opportunity! Recently I lost my job, like many others…but it was a blessing in disguise! I am now an Independant consultant with Arbonne International working with an amazing team of women! My team NVP is personally training me and one of the first things she told me was Franklin Covey has changed her life. I believe God puts us in the places we need to be at the times we need to be there, so when I came on this website to look for a planner & some trainings, and saw this opportunity…Blessed I thought I could be again! As a professional organizer, one of the most important aspects is time management and personal management of yourself and your goals. Clutter is often the result of delayed desicion making. I have never received any specific training in this area, although I have done a lot of reading and tried a number of different methods related to organizing your time. It has been a goal of mine for several years to take some training provided by Mr. Covey as I have used some of his time management tools and love the concept of ordering your life around your priorities so at the end of the day, the most important things were given the most priority.

While spending the past 20 years running a residential remodeling business, we are seeking insight to create effective ways to educate our clients of the roles of all the players involved in the remodeling process. Where past work was predominately referral based, we currently use lead services and find that most people who we speak to are not prepared. I feel that we can develop a system using the principles of the 7 Habits whereby a framework of defined roles and goals of all team members is defined prior to the start of any work or signing any contracts. I believe the webinar would provide essential insight to how we can formulate a system that allows homeowners, architects, designers and contractors to “begin with the end in mind” and bring a remodeling endeavor to a sucessful conclusion that is not only on time and on budget but also a rewarding experience.

Hello, my name is Seth and 247 days ago I entered the world of substance recovery. I can say unequivically that, aside from AA, Dr. Covey’s teachings have had the single greatest influence on my recovery thus far. I listen to the seven habits on my ipod while I work and they are slowly teaching me how to craft a life of usefulness, purpose, and happiness through service. I share what I’ve learned in my AA meetings and as a result I’ve had several of the “old-timers” tell me that I am “getting” the program in an exceptional way. The influence that the seven habits are having on my work and personal life is also remarkable. More than the webinar, I would concider it the greatest honor of my life to meet Dr.Covey and shake his hand and thank him personally for what he has contributed to my recovery and to the lives of my wife and I. In the throes of my disease, I personified a life of “flakiness” and dependance and to begin to build a new life based on the character ethic and centered on principles is an awesome and thrilling prospect. In the past I had read the “7 habits of highly effective people” and “The leader in me” and have found it very useful and insightful. Right now I am a fulltime student in an MBA program here in Atlanta.

I am 35 years old and I desperately need help in landing and keeping a job where I can come from my strengths and serve in whatever capacity I can to help my employer. I have always benefitted from your character based philosophy of personal, family and professional development. At this moment my finances are a bit of a challenge. The recession and it’s effect on the commercial real estate industry in Phoenix, AZ forced my company, a large Architecture firm, to downsize. My position, Director of Marketing, was one of the casualties. I decided I was going to be in control of my own destiny through this mess. I kicked it into high gear, set up my business organization and now, three months later, I have 4 clients and have completely replaced my income. Things are going very well but my biggest challenge is organizing my time so that I can manage the business development, creative and accounting aspects of my business simultaneously. There is so much to juggle. I have been a follower of Mr. Covey for years (since 7 Habits was first published) and I truly believe the opportunity to participate in this webinar could help me take my business to the next level!

Over 7 years ago my Wife and I made the decision to start a family and for me to stop my college degree. I got a job and have worked very hard to progress my career and have had a measure of success. But is seems that the last 2 years I have hit a plateau in my career and I am looking for way to improve myself and my family life. I am now a father of 4 children and am approaching 9 years of marriage with my wife, and I want to build a life that is full of quality family experiences. I am not sure how to balance a career and to balance the demands of a young family. I want to achieve success in both my family life and my career and am looking for inspiration for me to find way to achieve this. I hope that by attending these Webinars I will find the win win solution to achieving both of these aspects of my life and to help propel me off the current plateau that I am on.

I have a Franklin Covey planner that I use each day. I have been attending school at night off and on over the past 10 years to complete my AOS degree in Business Mgmt. I graduated with high honors in May.
I always participate in any training that I can find to make myself a more valuable employee. A coworker of mine once said to me, “Never refuse any training. They can never take it away from you and it will only make you more valuable.” He was a very wise man.
I am sure the training would help me advance in my position and I would learn many new things. I am constantly trying to be the best admin to the Chairman and President of our company. I would really appreciate the opportunity to attend the webinars and would put my training to good use.

Life brings you challenges in unexpected ways, sometimes those challenges are so big that you need to rethink how you work and how you think about organizing. For many years I used the Franklin Covey method in my professional life. I was a succeessful and very busy consultant and professor at a business school. I had to manage students and clientes, research projects and media appearances, public relations and politics. At some point, it felt like it was time to take a (short!) maternity leave to have a second child. It happen that this child of mine has autism, which believe or not, is a condition that our science doesn’t undestand very well yet. So here I am, managing a team of medical specialists, a team of therapists, a heavy regime of medicines and supplements, a system recording observations to find out what works for what, all that while researching mainstream and alternative medicine literature (It feels like doing a Phd in biomedicine!), and sustaining harmony, love and working order of a family of 4, plus atempting to nurture my professional interests and my own sanity. Of couse, I feel swamped. I started experimenting with forms of organizing, prioritizing, keeping a big picture while taking care of the details, but nothing has worked. I need help! I need a fresh perspective to put my life in order and rise to the challenge. I’ve neve done a seminar with Covey, but it may be the very best intervention at this time.

Implementing The Leader in Me at my school is my dream! Although hoping for the luck of the draw… with or without this aid, I am working to make my dreams come true.

My 1st opportunity to advance my career came the day my youngest son graduated from high school and left for college. I enrolled the next day. Because I taught while raising my 4 children, education isn’t new to me. However, the dual degrees I earn in April will be!

I’ve already accepted a new position as elementary directory at an international school. I’d like the opportunity to learn the skills I will need to succeed in becoming a highly valued and respected employee. Paraphrasing Covey in 7 Habits, the best way to learn is to teach. I want to learn to be a highly valued and respected member of my school – while teaching these same skills to my fellow teachers, and the children/families we serve.

Please help me expand my leadership skills so that I may lead our school in becoming the best school it can be through The Leader In Me.

I have many dreams I am ready to fulfill, but I need the organizational tools to help get me there. I have just started “7 Habits Book” and I am using the planner and ditching the smartphone. I need to feel what i am doing.

I am a recent single mom trying to put together a bunch of part time jobs to get back into the workplace. Having a Masters Degree doesn’t count in this economy; having the right tools, motivation and creativity breeds success.

My intention is to use what I have learned from the book, organizers and the webinar to help other women who have been in abusive situations. I cannot fail because I want to empower. In order to that I need to empower myself first. I look forward to receiving this assistance from you through this webinar.

Everytime I listen to Dr. Covey I learn something that changes my life. I am positive the webinars would have the same impact. I feel like this is a golden nugget I could take and grow!

I am where I am right now because of Dr. Covey’s message. Everything is going very well. I have an amazing man in my life after leaving an abusive relationship 8 years ago. I am on my own, I am very healthy, and I have two sons who are becoming loving, thoughtful young men. God has truly blessed us.

After going back to school to earn my Master degree in Marketing, I had a difficult time finding employment that would sustain my children and I…without having to work 80 hours a week. It took me four jobs and a couple years to find an online marketing position, with a family-oriented company. I was making strong contributions and learning a lot when the company started consolidating. I was let go after two years of service. (I didn’t count on being in this position ever again.)

The jobs search has been unfruitful for 9 months. Because I did not establish “tenure,” at any previous jobs, many companies don’t take me seriously. I am worried I won’t find full-time work with insurance, before my unemployment runs out. Being out of work is bittersweet because being at home with the boyz is strengthening my relationship with them.

I know there is something out there for me that will allow me to be close to my kids and provide for us. I have confidence Dr. Covey will lead the way.

I’m a married Mother of 5 children that has re-entered the work place after more than 10 years. I love all of aspects of Franklin Covey training and would love the opportunity to gain insights into becoming a more effective in my role at work. My new job is requiring me to help our team identify our Q2 goals and behaviors to try to keep us out of Q1. I work in Real Estate industry which is a tough industry to be in with all the negative media attention. Staying focused and positive on our jobs is critical. My team is having to shift the way they did business in the past and I’m trying to help implement those changes. Changing behavior and focus of others when they’ve done things one way for so long is my road block. I would love to participate in the webinar as I’m sure I can make improvements in myself to help me professionally and personally. I then can help set the example to my team.

5 years ago I was married with one child and had a job in social services that I enjoyed. I am now a single parent and have been in my current position for a year and a half. I still love my job although it was a career change at a time with just about everything in my life changed. I know I made the right choice; I’m on the right course, but I realize that although I’m on the right path that the journey is far from over. I want to control my destiny and achieve my goals so my daughter, now 11 will be inspired to pursue her dreams and won’t let anything stop her. Her pefect world — living with two loving parents in a comfortable home –was turned upside down — but she’s survived as have I. But I want to do more than survive, I want to thrive! I’ve stayed in the not for profit sector — a choice I will never regret. Being rich has never been my primary goal — however , I want to provide a good life for my daughter and myself. I’ve always shared my work experiences with my daughter and she has certainly reaped the beneifits of all the Covey training my organization receives. ( I run the training department). My daughter and I are Coveyites — if there is such a word. She’s read 7 Habits for Teens and is now reading the 8th Habit. She is a proud owner of an autographed copy of Leading at the Spead of Trust. She was my test subject as I went through the certification for Leading at the Speed of Trust. She touted Leading at the Speed of Trust in 5th grade and prompted her teacher to ask me to do a talk on Trust In Leadership for her class. She’s probably M.R. Covey’s youngest and biggest fan. Anything I learn in the Webinar willl have a ripple effect that will extend not just to my daughter but to her classmates and beyond. Thanks for all the inspiration you’ve provided and will continue to provide.

I was about to leave my jop because i was so frustrated, but after the training my paradigm was shifted 180 degree. now I’ve different way to think, very positive and proactive way. thanks a lot for Mr Covey, actually you are the transition person of my life. that’s why I’d extremely wish to have the opportunity to join the webinar.
