Coaching and Consulting Experience
Curt coaches senior executives at many Fortune 500 companies, privately held companies and large governmental organizations across the country. He has been an executive coach at such public companies as Yahoo!, PepsiCo, Verizon, General Motors, Hill-Rom Corporation, Freddie Mac and SAIC. Privately held companies in his portfolio include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Vertex Inc. and Hospital Corporation of America. His experience coaching leaders at large governmental organizations includes Federal Bureau of Investigations, National Security Agency, Washington Metro Area Transit Authority and the U.S. Navy.
Curt has coached an extensive variety of job positions and functional areas. Specifically, he has coached executives holding the job titles of chief executive officer, president, chief financial officer, senior vice president, vice president, partner and director. Functional areas include executive management roles in finance, information technology, marketing, human resources, operations and individual contributors.
Coaching Areas of Expertise
Curt has extensive training in rigorous diagnostic and assessment techniques and uses these techniques to help clients identify individual and organizational strengths as well as development opportunities. He is credentialed to perform a variety of individual and organizational assessments and evaluations including Hogan Assessment Systems, the ASSESS suite of instruments (including competency modeling), the 16PF, the MBTI, and FIRO-B.
Curt received specialized leadership assessment and development training through the Center for Creative Leadership, National Leadership Institute and the Global Consulting Partnership. He received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a bachelor of science in psychology from Virginia Tech.
