Coaching and Consulting Experience
Gail Angelo developed her expertise and distinctive coaching style over a 30-year career in leadership development. Now a professional certified coach (PCC), she has partnered with leaders, teams and organizations across varied industries. In addition to coaching physicians and administrators in the healthcare industry, she has worked with senior-level partners, high-potential partners, senior vice presidents and senior managers in the financial services and banking industries; station and regional vice presidents in the communications industry; chief executive officers and vice presidents of national and regional construction and architectural firms; and senior leaders of economic development in Africa and Latin America.
Gail likes to say she grew up surrounded by talk of business, frequently the main course of discussion during family dinners. She followed her father – a senior executive at P&G – into the consumer products industry, working in high-impact leadership roles. A promotion to a role in organizational leadership development and succession planning at Frito Lay ultimately led her to become a professional coaching consultant. Over the years, she has achieved considerable success in executive and team coaching, strategic consulting, training design and facilitation.
Gail takes a practical approach to executive coaching, relying more on her wealth of experience than on theory. Her background and creativity enabled her to innovate a new coaching model, the InnerAction™ Process, which leverages a client’s self-reflection to gain insight and maximize results. She also focuses on building upon strengths, whether of an individual, team or organization, to close performance gaps. In coaching, she calls into action one of her own strengths: a deep passion for inspiring positive change in the people with whom she works.
