Andy brings a wealth of experience working with organizations that are serious about “winning.” He pushes himself and the teams he works with very hard to ensure success while his engaging sense of humor and enthusiasm for life help make the experience as enjoyable as it is powerful. Since 1999, Andy has worked as a facilitator and senior consultant for various clients in the software, insurance, hospitality, banking, construction, healthcare, chemical, mortgage, technology, telecom, energy, and pharmaceutical industries, among others. He has also worked with branches of the US Armed Forces, the National Guard, and several US government departments and agencies. Andy is a highly-rated keynote speaker and has engaged clients all over the world, including: China, the UK, Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, Thailand, Borneo, Singapore, Germany, and Belgium.
Andy’s experience owning and operating a successful business focused on strategic planning, instructional and graphic design, and web development allows him to customize each client intervention. Prior to coming to FranklinCovey, Andy’s service as a successful athletic coach and his tenure leading an organization of over 500 provided ample experience in the proper application of the principles he teaches in the “real world,” and he continues to practice what he preaches as a partner in several other ventures
Andy earned a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and a B.S. in teaching psychology, history, and coaching from Brigham Young University after studying design at Kansas State University.
He is a Master Gardener with a passion for homemade salsa. He enjoys coaching, motorcycling, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and making furniture. He lives near the mountains of Utah with his wife, Suzie, and their three beautiful children.
