Dave Green, Consultant
Dave Green helps clients focus and execute on high pay-off activities through strategic planning, goal alignment, and time management. Whether he is helping individuals plan their time or helping organizations plan their FY goal priorities, Dave’s approach is always results oriented. He has designed and delivered hundreds of programs for executives, managers, and professionals aimed toward helping them improve their productivity.
Comfortable with technology, Dave is well-known in the Bay Area. Clients find him engaging, and a number have worked with him for more than ten years. He has worked abroad, and clients value the perspective he brings to a business climate that grows more global every day.
Dave is a frequent speaker at national conferences and conventions including the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and Training Magazine’s “Best of America” Conference. He has been interviewed by CNN, National Public Radio (NPR), and local television and radio. He served on the California Governor’s Task Force for Training and Development.
Dave joined FranklinCovey in 1996. He started professional life as an academic. He taught business courses for the Haas Graduate School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Dave wrote and implemented curricula for the required business communications course that is still used today.
Dave also held two senior management positions with the largest training and consulting organization in Europe. After he helped them successfully launch and grow their North American operations, he started his own practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dave’s clients represent many Fortune 500 and 100 organizations including those in technology, energy, bio tech and science, finance, health care, and government.
Dave earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. He received FranklinCovey’s prestigious Summit Award in 2005 and is also a member of President’s Club, recognized as one of the organization’s highest achievers.
Dave designed the MS Outlook version (FOCUS: MS Outlook Edition) and the Outlook Rescue Guide, used with FranklinCovey’s renowned FOCUS: Achieving Your Highest Priorities course.
Dave lives with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has plenty of opportunity to practice time management, execution, and life balance with his own schedule, two busy teenagers, and a wife who is a manager in a Fortune 500 company. He and his family enjoy traveling in Europe every year. Dave is also actively involved in his community.
