Chuck’s longstanding reputation gives him national recognition as a lecturer, teacher, and facilitator. Clients appreciate his straightforward style coupled with his keen sense of humor. They value his expertise in management, interpersonal relations, finance, collective bargaining, and leadership training.

Chuck was an original founding owner of the Covey Leadership Center (later merged with Franklin Quest to become FranklinCovey Co.). In his role as Executive Vice President of the Education Division, he amassed a team of client partners and a cadre’ of outstanding consultants. Chuck led the early development efforts for the division and is responsible for many of the products and services it offers.

Prior to his work at FranklinCovey, Chuck served as an education administrator, consultant, and grant writer. In addition, he founded and was president of his own consulting firm. Chuck also worked on the Nova Project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which implemented an innovative approach to individualized instruction.

Chuck’s clients represent many organization in the private and public sector. Chuck has been particularly effective in fostering unique relationships between educational institutions and private corporations including the pharmaceutical, gas and oil, utilities, and telecommunications industries.

Chuck holds an M.S. from Ball State University. He also earned a B.S. from Indiana State University.

He has been named a member of FranklinCovey’s prestigious President’s Club three times in recognition of his outstanding performance.

Chuck lives in Florida with his wife, Paula. They have three grown children and five grandchildren. He is an equestrian enthusiast and loves riding horses. He also enjoys fishing and relaxing on the beach just beyond his deck.
