Harvey W. Young
Harvey Young began his work with FranklinCovey over 17 years ago.
He has worked with a variety of Fortune 500 organizations. His clients represent manufacturing, real estate finance, education, banking, and finance. In addition Harvey is successful in working with non-profit organizations, healthcare, military, as well as governmental agencies at the local and federal level.
Prior to his work with FranklinCovey, Harvey enjoyed a successful and diverse career in finance and management. He spent 30 years in executive positions for the Housing Authority, City of Pittsburgh, Howard Hanna Financial Services, and West Penn Financial Services, He also served eight years in the United States Air Force on both active duty and in the reserve.
Harvey lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Tonyia, and twin sons. He is active in his community and church where he served as the Director of Operations for a congregation of 3,000 people. He is also part of the teaching staff for the University of Delaware’s Center for Neighborhood Policy and Research. He also works with several boards and organizations by lending his expertise in leadership, finance, and other development activities.
