Coaching and Consulting Experience

Kristen utilizes both coaching and consulting to empower experienced and emerging leaders to maximize their impact professionally and personally. As a coach, Kristen uses assessments, thought-provoking questioning strategies and a variety of activities to uncover the client’s goals, identify barriers to success and establish accountabilities to facilitate growth. Kristen’s approach supports both leaders and individual contributors as they grow in authenticity to promote professional impact, career satisfaction and success at work. As a consultant, Kristen draws from 20+ years of experience leading sales professionals in both inside and outside sales environments. Through her client interactions, Kristen identifies growth opportunities in specific skills or competencies and delivers contextual training and consulting to fill in these gaps.


Kristen has worked in a variety of industries including manufacturing, logistics, professional services, education and publishing. Her clients have included individuals, leadership teams, small businesses, and corporations. She has coached professionals holding the job titles of President, VP of Sales, Sales Manager, Sales Executive, and Account Manager.


Business and Career Background

Kristen has more than 25 years of business experience including sales leadership, efficacy marketing, coaching and consulting. Prior to becoming a professional coach, Kristen worked for Pearson Education. There, she held several titles, including Executive District Sales Manager and Vice President/Regional Sales Manager. As an Executive District Sales Manager, she managed 11 sales representatives in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana with a total revenue of $44 million. She also consistently achieved sales increases throughout her time there. As a Vice President/Regional Sales Manager, Kristen oversaw Inside Sales, Faculty Field Services and Sales Associates. While in this role, she realized a cumulative sales increase of $19.8 million and again consistently achieved sales increases.


Education and Certifications

Kristen is a member of the International Coach Federation and is a Certified Master Coach through the Center for Coaching Certification. She holds a BSBA in Marketing from Central Michigan University. Professionally, Kristen is involved with Vistage International and NAWBO. She has experience with multiple assessments, including DiSC, Gallup StrengthsFinder and The Achiever.
