Kristin Mackey, Consultant

Kristin Mackey has extensive experience in leadership development training.  She is skilled in helping clients, in a variety of industries, implement their strategic initiatives.  Her expertise includes change management, stress management, leadership development, conflict management, communications skills, and customer service.

Whether she is working with eight people or a group of 500, Kristin inspires people to be more authentic in their professional and personal lives.  Clients value her ability to help people communicate their viewpoints and to respect and value the views of others.

Prior to her work with FranklinCovey, Kristin worked for Fred Pryor Seminars where she provided training in over 300 cities across the United States.  She was also the Director of Service Excellence (patient satisfaction) for a large health care system in the Northeast that included a full-service children's hospital, twelve primary care medical offices, as well as several children's medical clinics in Florida.

In her role as Director of Service Excellence, Kristin implemented extensive changes in staff development.  She delivered two key milestones in the five-year strategic plan that resulted in a 381% increase in emergency room patient satisfaction scores.  the service recovery system increased from a 32% compliance rate to over 100% in only four weeks.  Thereafter, it maintained 95% consistently and met all state requirements.

Kristin has worked successfully with a number of clients representing a variety of industries including health care, finance, pharmaceutical, and defense.  She has worked extensively with institutions of higher education as well as non-profit organizations.

Kristin has earned a B.A. in communications from Rowan University.

She was also distinguished as first, among 250 speakers worldwide, for excellence in teaching conflict management, during her tenure with Fred Pryor Seminars.  In addition, her work in teaching effective communication skills was featured in a leading New Jersey newspaper.  It detailed the importance of direct and honest communication to create a successful business environment.

Kristin lives in Miramar, Florida, with her husband Paul.  She enjoys writing, running, traveling and sitting by the beach whenever possible.  Kristin travels often to New Jersey to visit friends and family--especially her young nieces.
