David T. Williams, Execution Practice

Senior consultant David T. Williams brings a highly diverse background to FranklinCovey clients. His unique business perspective comes from extensive management experience in human resource and operations management.

David’s proven track record in strategic planning, lean manufacturing practices, leadership development, organizational restructuring, and employee development translates into results for his clients.

Prior to his work with FranklinCovey, David was General Manager for the leading polyethylene foam manufacturer in the United States. He also served as Chief Operating Officer for one of the country’s largest concrete block manufactures.

In addition, David was General Manager, North America, for a major electronic contract manufacturer. He oversaw the successful deployment of several manufacturing initiatives for a number of Fortune 100 organizations. David has also served in the United States Marine Corp.

David’s clients represent a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, construction, tourism, and pharmaceuticals.

David holds a B.S. in Human Resources Management from Liberty University in Virginia. He is both Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing Certified.

In 1998, 2000, and 2006, FranklinCovey recognized David for his success in implementing The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People as well as The 4 Disciplines of Execution principles in his organization. He is also featured in Stephen Covey’s book, Living the 7 Habits: Stories of Courage and Inspiration, and he is highlighted in FranklinCovey’s video, The WIG (Wildly Important Goals) Session for his outstanding work with The 4 Disciplines.

David lives in Benson, North Carolina (just outside of Raleigh, N.C.) with his wife, Donna, and their children. He enjoys working with 16-and-17 year olds in the Formula Renault and Formula Vauxhall Series in the United Kingdom.
