Chris Parker, Senior Consultant
Chris Parker has over 20 years experience inspiring leadership teams to excel beyond their most ambitious expectations. They appreciate her ability to see the big picture and to help them accelerate their business results.
Whether she is speaking to hundreds or working with small teams, Chris has the innate ability to connect with each individual. They value her straightforward style, her energy, and her humor. She is passionate about impacting future generations by helping people and organizations unlock their full potential.
Chris has excellent skills in sales effectiveness as well as organizational and leadership development.
Prior to joining FranklinCovey as a Senior Consultant, Chris held a number of executive and management positions. She repeatedly led her organizations to achieve superior results—even during the challenging times inherent in mergers, rapid growth, or restructuring to cut costs.
Chris was Vice President of World Wide Customer Support Operations for Wind River Systems, Inc., Alameda, California, a successful software company with offices in North America, Japan, the Asia Pacific region, and Europe. She was responsible for customer product support and customer education. She also managed direct sales engineering teams focused on increasing customer and employee satisfaction.
Chris was Senior Director of North America Field Engineering Organization where she managed the technical account managers and engineering specialists who supported the direct sales force.
Chris worked with Integrated Systems, Inc. (ISI), in Sunnyvale, California as Director of World Wide Sales, Design Automation Solutions, Business Unit (DASBU) where she established the first industry targeted sales program. This program removed the barriers that made resources and knowledge sharing across the globe possible. Chris was also the Director of North American Sales and the District Sales Manager for ISI DASBU.
Chris works with clients that represent a variety of industries including technology, financial, medical, construction, and consulting services. She also works successfully with non-profit organizations as well as a number of governmental agencies.
Chris earned an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She also holds an M.S. in Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a B.S. in applied mathematics from Memphis State University in Memphis, Tennessee.
Chris and her husband, Randy, live in Dallas, Texas. They have two incredible children, Ryan and Anastasia. Chris loves to travel and meet people from all corners of the world.
