Debbie Reynolds, Consultant
Dynamic, knowledgeable, and energetic are words clients often use to describe Debbie Reynolds. She is passionate about building leaders in organizations who will be able to develop and sustain the future. Clients appreciate her ability to create high-trust within their organizations so that everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas openly.
Debbie is meticulous about researching trends that impact organizations. She is adept at using relevant examples and case studies to emphasize what she teaches. Her fun-loving style puts everyone at ease. Whether they spend one hour or three days in her seminars, the time is too short.
Debbie brings a rich and varied background to her clients. She has been with American Airlines for 17 years. She was an Account Development Manager and negotiated contracts that provided the airline preferred status with corporate travel departments globally. She was also American Airline’s Corporate Training Manager. She developed and delivered sales training leadership programs as well as vendor-developed programs.
Debbie has also held a management position at Travel Service, Inc. in Dallas, Texas, a corporate travel agency. She was responsible for marketing to small and medium-sized businesses for preferred agency status. She also taught basic public speaking to weekend students seeking degrees at Dallas Baptist College, and she has been a public school teacher (speech, drama, debate, and history).
Debbie’s clients include a variety of industries including oil and gas, banking and finance, retail, technology, telecommunications, travel management, and consulting. She has also worked successfully with a number of educational forums as well as not-for-profit organizations.
Debbie holds an M.A. from North Texas State University in interpersonal and public communications. She earned a B.A. at Dallas Baptist College in secondary education with majors in history and communication.
Debbie completed the Certified Corporate Travel Executive Program through the University of Houston, Conrad Hilton School, as well as the Global Leadership Program at the Wharton School University of Pennsylvania, sponsored by the National Business Travel Association. She is certified in 17 programs with FranklinCovey, Summit, Aarthun Performance Group, Wilson Learning, CompUSA, and Communispond.
Debbie lives in Texas with her husband Tom. They divide their time between two homes—one in Bedford (a suburb of Dallas), the other in Houston. They have two grown children and two very spoiled dogs. Debbie is an active volunteer for the Grapevine Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and the Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association (TWGGA). She loves to read and is a season ticket holder with the Dallas Summer Musicals.
