Prior to his work with FranklinCovey, Homero worked for Zurich Insurance, Maryland Insurance Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland, ISI Consulting in Dallas, and the University of North Texas in positions ranging from frontline to management.
Homero has worked with many clients representing a number of industries including food and beverage, health care, insurance, technology, banking, hotel, restaurant, retail, data information, grocery, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing.
He has worked successfully with federal and state governmental agencies as well as military organizations. In fact, at a workshop Homero was teaching for the U. S. Department of Education, President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney made an appearance.
Homero earned an M.S. in business administration, specializing in marketing, from the University of North Texas. He holds a B.S in accounting from North Texas State University.
In his first year with FranklinCovey, Homero was named Rookie-of-the-Year for his outstanding performance. Since then, he has been distinguished as a member of the company’s President’s Club eight times. In 2005 he received the company’s highest honor, The Summit Award.
Homero lives in the Baltimore/Washington DC area with his family. He is very involved in his community, but draws most pleasure from spending time with his family and friends.
Homero loves the arts and music. He founded a theatre group that showcases local talent and provides quality, affordable entertainment. He enjoys being on stage as well as working behind the scenes. Homero has performed at Radio City Music Hall and enjoys sharing his gift of song.
