Jeff Cleary, Consultant

Two experiences have been paramount in shaping Jeff Cleary as one of FranklinCovey’s most valued senior consultants. In his early experience, Jeff lived in many countries throughout the world. As a result, he learned to respect people everywhere. Then, in his role as an Exxon Executive, Jeff learned important strategies necessary to succeed in today’s tough business environment.

Jeff’s prior work experience includes management at Exxon where he worked hard to earn executive status. His work included experience in operations, project engineering, and technical sales management.

In 1991 Jeff joined the Covey Leadership Center where he served as President of its affiliate in New Jersey.

Jeff has served a variety of clients in his 15 years with FranklinCovey including many fortune 100 and 500 companies. His experience spans industries including gas and oil, pharmaceutical, communications, and investment banking as well as large and small IT firms. He has also worked with the military, state and federal governmental agencies, and a number of non-profit organizations.

Jeff has impressive educational credentials. He graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He also completed a M.S. in Business Administration.

In addition to his university degrees, Jeff trained with guru, Dr. W. Edwards Deming in quality and compliance management.

Jeff and his wife live north of Dallas. They have two grown children. In their free time, they enjoy riding horses.
