Randy Nelson, Consultant
Senior Consultant Randy Nelson’s experience in sales, consulting, community affairs, and theatre performance has prepared him as one of FranklinCovey’s most talented and entertaining consultants. His enthusiasm is contagious.
Since 1992, when Randy joined FranklinCovey, he has had the opportunity to help thousands of people create balance in their personal and professional lives. Randy’s clients value him because he gets results. They consistently invite him back.
Prior to his work with FranklinCovey, Randy spent over 29 years working at AT&T in positions focused on sales and marketing. During his tenure there, he was a National Account Manager.
Randy works with a variety of clients representing industries including retail, insurance, technology, gas and oil, and energy. He also works with governmental agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.
Randy earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) Degree in finance from Boise State University.
AT&T honored Randy twice with the company’s highest sales award. Randy also achieved membership in the Achiever’s Club eleven times. Since working for FranklinCovey, Randy has been awarded membership in its prestigious President’s Club four times and has also received a Summit Award. Both awards honor the company’s highest achievers. In addition, twice Randy has received a special Team Award for partnering achievement.
Randy and his wife, Jenny, call Littleton, Colorado their home. However, they spend as much time as possible at their vacation home in Cape Cod. They have five children and seven grandchildren.
An active participant in community theatre, Randy has played the lead in several musicals including Music Man, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and The Sound of Music. He also enjoys landscaping, woodworking, and leisure travel.
