Global Operations at HP Denmark faced a problem that many organizations face. The employees did not feel—among other things—that the department had clear goals, and they also did not think problems were properly dealt with.
Operations Manager, Jakob Brink, partnered with FranklinCovey and used The 4 Disciplines of Execution to set new goals and to involve the staff in the planning process. Managers learned how to contain themselves, to coach, not dictate, and to make room for their staff to function.
