Business and Career Background

Elliott honed his coaching skills in the business world. At Express, Inc., he was a member of the executive leadership team behind the company’s private equity buyout and ensuing IPO. He helped create a successful e-commerce business and also attracted, developed and retained industry-leading talent. He previously was a key HR executive at L Brands, launching the company’s first shared-services talent acquisition function, a critical element of the business operating system. His keen eye for talent and strategic staffing capabilities was well leveraged across all the L Brands businesses. He ultimately led the corporate reorganization and reinvestment initiative of one of those businesses, Victoria’s Secret.

Most recently, he led HR for a privately held coordinated healthcare services provider. As a member of the executive team, he leveraged his experience to help the business grow by close to 50% in 18 months. He is credited with significantly improving employee engagement, helping the company earn recognition as a Best Place to Work in Central Ohio. Early in his career, he worked in HR at Macy’s, building experience in talent management, executive compensation and change management.
